God is my Lord, Muhammad is His Prophet, 'Ali b. Abi Talib is the Prophet's successor, the Ka'ba is my qibla, the Qur'an is my joy and my provision, and the people of faith are my brothers. Then a call comes from God: You have brought forth the proof and declared your sound belief, so I have made the lofty stations of the Garden your due. At that his grave is turned into one of the fair gardens of Paradise.

The Commentary of Imam al-Hasan al-'Askari, peace be upon him, and al-Ihtijaj: It is related from Imam al-'Askari, peace be upon him, that he said: One day two women who differed over a matter of religion came to Fatima, peace be upon her, and set out their views. She, peace be upon her, then established her proof and argument in accordance with the belief of the one whose creed was sound and whose claim was true; and seeing the joy and gladness of the believing woman she said to her: The joy of the angels at the appearing and triumph of the truth was greater than your gladness, and the grief and sorrow of Satan and his helpers greater than the grief of the woman who was overcome in her false belief. And the Lord commands the angels, for this deed, to prepare for Fatima a thousand thousand times what had been made ready. And this is a standing law for everyone who brings about the triumph and victory of My servant over an obstinate enemy.

The Commentary of Imam al-Hasan al-'Askari, peace be upon him, and al-Ihtijaj: It is related from Imam al-'Askari, peace be upon him, that Imam al-Hasan al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him, said to a man who had brought him a gift: Would you rather I gave you twenty times its worth in return, or taught you something by which you may overcome such-and-such a Nasibi and deliver a company of misguided, simple folk from his evil propaganda? And if you choose well and take the better of the two, I shall join both together for you; and if you err in discerning the better, you will still be free to choose one of the two. The man said: Is my reward for overcoming the enemy of the truth, and delivering people from the evil of his propaganda and his words, worth twenty thousand dirhams? He said: No — rather the worth of that deed equals a thousand thousand times the value of the whole world. He said: Then how should I choose the lesser and baser thing? Rather I choose the other. The Imam, peace be upon him, said: In the choice you were given, you chose the best. So he taught him those matters and gave him twenty thousand dirhams besides. Now when the man returned to his town he disputed with that Nasibi and silenced and confuted him. News of this victory reached the Imam, peace be upon him, and at their next meeting he said to him: No one has gained, by deed or earning, as you have
