النحل: «وَ الْأَنْعامَ خَلَقَها لَكُمْ فِيها دِفْ ءٌ وَ مَنافِعُ وَ مِنْها تَأْكُلُونَ وَ لَكُمْ فِيها جَمالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَ حِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ وَ تَحْمِلُ أَثْقالَكُمْ إِلى بَلَدٍ لَمْ تَكُونُوا بالِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ الْأَنْفُسِ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَؤُفٌ رَحِيمٌ وَ الْخَيْلَ وَ الْبِغالَ وَ الْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوها وَ زِينَةً (إلى قوله تعالى): هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً لَكُمْ مِنْهُ شَرابٌ وَ مِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ (إلى قوله تعالى): وَ ما ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفاً أَلْوانُهُ إِنَّ فِي ذلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ وَ هُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْماً طَرِيًّا وَ تَسْتَخْرِجُوا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَها وَ تَرَی الْفُلْكَ مَواخِرَ فِيهِ وَ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ»(5-14) (و قال تعالى): «يَخافُونَ رَبَّهُمْ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَ يَفْعَلُونَ ما يُؤْمَرُونَ»(50) (و قال تعالی): «وَ اللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَناً وَ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ جُلُودِ الْأَنْعامِ بُيُوتاً تَسْتَخِفُّونَها يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُمْ وَ يَوْمَ إِقامَتِكُمْ وَ مِنْ أَصْوافِها وَ أَوْبارِها وَ أَشْعارِها أَثاثاً وَ مَتاعاً إِلى حِينٍ وَ اللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلالًا وَ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْجِبالِ أَكْناناً وَ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرابِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ الْحَرَّ وَ سَرابِيلَ تَقِيكُمْ بَأْسَكُمْ كَذلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ»(81) (و قال تعالى): «فَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلالًا طَيِّباً»(114)

"And He created the cattle for you: in them there is warmth and benefits for you, and of them you eat. And in them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you drive them out to pasture. And they carry your loads to a land you could not reach except with hardship to yourselves. Truly your Lord is kind and merciful. And [He created] horses and mules and donkeys for you to ride and as an adornment [for you]; and He creates what you do not know. And upon God rests the showing of the straight way, while some of those [ways] are crooked; and had [God] willed, He would surely have guided you all. He it is who sent down water from the sky; from it is your drink, and from it come the plants in which you pasture [your flocks]. By it He grows for you the crops and the olives and the date palms and the grapes and every kind of [other] produce. Truly in that is a sign for a people who reflect. And He made the night and the day and the sun and the moon subservient to you, and the stars are made subservient by His command. Truly in these [matters] are signs for a people who use their reason. And [likewise He made subject to you] whatever He produced for you in the earth of varied colours. Truly in these [matters] is a sign for a people who take admonition. And He it is who made the sea subservient so that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring out from it the ornaments that you wear. And you see the ships cleaving [the water] in it, and that you may seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks." "They fear their Lord who is above them and do what they are commanded." "And God has made your houses a place of rest for you, and made for you out of the hides of the cattle houses that you find light on the day of your journeying and at the time of your halting, and [He provided] from their wool and their fleece and their hair furnishings of life to be used for a while. And God has provided for you shade from what He has created, and made for you shelters in the mountains, and appointed for you garments that protect you from the heat [and the cold], and garments [coats of mail] that protect you in your fighting. Thus does He complete His favour upon you, that you may submit [to His command]." "So eat of what God has provided you, lawful [and] wholesome, and give thanks for God's favour, if it is Him alone you worship."

طه: «فَأَخْرَجْنا بِهِ أَزْواجاً مِنْ نَباتٍ شَتَّى كُلُوا وَ ارْعَوْا أَنْعامَكُمْ»(53 ، 54) (و قال تعالى): «كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّباتِ ما رَزَقْناكُمْ وَ لا تَطْغَوْا فِيهِ»(81)

"He it is who made the earth a cradle for you, and traced for you paths in it, and sent down water from the sky, and thereby We brought forth various kinds of plants in pairs. Eat and pasture your cattle; truly in these are signs for people of understanding." "Eat of the wholesome things We have provided you."

الحج: «أَ لَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُمْ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ الْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِ»(65) (و قال تعالی): «وَ ما جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ»(78)

"Have you not seen that God has made subservient to you what is in the earth, and the ships run upon the sea by His command?" "And strive in the way of God as is due to striving [in His way]; He has chosen you [for Himself] and has not placed hardship upon you in religion."

المؤمنون: «وَ أَنْزَلْنا مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّاهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ إِنَّا عَلى ذَهابٍ بِهِ لَقادِرُونَ فَأَنْشَأْنا لَكُمْ بِهِ جَنَّاتٍ مِنْ نَخِيلٍ وَ أَعْنابٍ لَكُمْ فِيها فَواكِهُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَ مِنْها تَأْكُلُونَ وَ شَجَرَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ طُورِ سَيْناءَ تَنْبُتُ بِالدُّهْنِ وَ صِبْغٍ لِلْآكِلِينَ وَ إِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَنْعامِ لَعِبْرَةً نُسْقِيكُمْ مِمَّا فِي بُطُونِها وَ لَكُمْ فِيها مَنافِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَ مِنْها تَأْكُلُونَ وَ عَلَيْها وَ عَلَی الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ»(16-21) (و قال تعالى): «يا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنَ الطَّيِّباتِ»(51)

"And We sent down from the sky water in a [fixed] measure and settled it in the earth, and We are certainly able to take it away. Then by it We produced for you gardens of date palms and grapes, in which there are abundant fruits for you and of which you eat. And from Mount Sinai there comes forth a tree that yields oil and a relish for those who eat. And truly for you there is a lesson in the cattle: We give you to drink of [the milk] that is in their bellies, and in them there are many benefits for you and of them you eat. And upon them and upon the ships you are carried." "O messengers, eat of the wholesome things."

النور: «فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ»(63)

"So let those who disobey His command beware lest an affliction befall them or a painful punishment overtake them."

الشعراء: «أَمَدَّكُمْ بِأَنْعامٍ وَ بَنِينَ وَ جَنَّاتٍ وَ عُيُونٍ»(133)

"He has aided you with cattle and sons, and with gardens and springs."

لقمان: «أَ لَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُمْ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَ ما فِي الْأَرض»(20)

"Have you not known that God has made subservient to you what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and has completed His favours upon you, outward and inward?"
