«7»- مع، معاني الأخبار أَبِي عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْيَعْقُوبِيِّ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عليه السلام قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللّٰه عليه و آله اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ خُلَفَائِي اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ خُلَفَائِي اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ خُلَفَائِي قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ مَنْ خُلَفَاؤُكَ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يَأْتُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِي يَرْوُونَ حَدِيثِي وَ سُنَّتِي ١.
Ma'ani al-Akhbar: 'Ali, peace be upon him, related from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family, that he said: O God, have mercy on my successors! O God, have mercy on my successors! O God, have mercy on my successors! It was said: O Messenger of God, who are your successors? He said: Those who come after me and relate my hadith and my practice.
«8»- ير، بصائر الدرجات أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ سَعْدَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عليه السلام رَجُلٌ رَاوِيَةٌ لِحَدِيثِكُمْ يَبُثُّ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّاسِ وَ يُشَدِّدُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ شِيعَتِكُمْ وَ لَعَلَّ عَابِداً مِنْ شِيعَتِكُمْ لَيْسَتْ لَهُ هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةُ أَيُّهُمَا أَفْضَلُ قَالَ رَاوِيَةٌ لِحَدِيثِنَا يَبُثُّ فِي النَّاسِ وَ يُشَدِّدُ فِي قُلُوبِ شِيعَتِنَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ عَابِدٍ.
Basa'ir al-Darajat: Mu'awiya b. 'Ammar says: I said to Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him: A man who relates your hadith and spreads it among people and by it makes firm the hearts of your Shi'a; and perhaps one of your Shi'a is a devout worshipper who cannot do this work — which of them is the more excellent? He said: A narrator who spreads our hadiths much among people and makes firm the hearts of our Shi'a is better than a thousand worshippers.
بيان: الراوية صيغة مبالغة أي كثير الرواية.
Elucidation: "Rawiya" is an intensive form, meaning one who relates much.
«9»- ير، بصائر الدرجات ابْنُ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عليه السلام عَنْ رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا فَقِيهٌ رَاوِيَةٌ لِلْحَدِيثِ وَ الْآخَرُ لَيْسَ لَهُ مِثْلُ رِوَايَتِهِ فَقَالَ الرَّاوِيَةُ لِلْحَدِيثِ الْمُتَفَقِّهُ فِي الدِّينِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ عَابِدٍ لَا فِقْهَ لَهُ وَ لَا رِوَايَةَ.
Basa'ir al-Darajat: Mu'awiya b. Wahb says: I asked Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, about two men, one of whom is a jurist who relates much hadith, while the other's narration is not equal to his. He said: One who relates much hadith and attains understanding in religion is better than a thousand worshippers who have neither understanding nor narration.
«10»- سن، المحاسن الْقَاسِمُ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عليه السلام قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عليه السلام ذِكْرُنَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ الْوَعْكِ ٢ وَ الْأَسْقَامِ وَ وَسْوَاسِ الرَّيْبِ وَ حُبُّنَا رِضَى الرَّبِّ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى.
Al-Mahasin: Muhammad b. Muslim related from Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, that the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, said: The remembrance of us, the People of the House, peace be upon them, is a cure for the pain of fever and for ailments and for the whisperings that stir up doubt; and love for us is the good pleasure of the Lord.
«11»- ير، بصائر الدرجات عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجُعْفِيِّ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى الرِّضَا عليه السلام وَ مَعِي صَحِيفَةٌ أَوْ قِرْطَاسٌ فِيهِ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عليه السلام إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا مُثِّلَتْ لِصَاحِبِ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ فِي مِثْلِ فِلْقَةِ الْجَوْزَةِ فَقَالَ يَا حَمْزَةُ ذَا وَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَانْقُلُوهُ إِلَى أَدِيمٍ.
Basa'ir al-Darajat: Hamza b. 'Abd al-Muttalib b. 'Abd Allah al-Ju'fi says: I came into the presence of Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him, and I had with me a notebook or a sheet of paper on which this hadith was written: It is related from Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq, peace be upon him: The world, for the Shi'a, is likened to half the shell of a walnut. He said: O Hamza, by God this hadith is true; write it on parchment.
«12»- ير، بصائر الدرجات عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَمَّنْ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: كَتَبْتُ فِي ظَهْرِ قِرْطَاسٍ أَنَّ الدُّنْيَا مُمَثَّلَةٌ لِلْإِمَامِ كَفِلْقَةِ الْجَوْزَةِ فَدَفَعْتُهُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ عليه السلام وَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنَّ أَصْحَابَنَا رَوَوْا حَدِيثاً مَا أَنْكَرْتُهُ غَيْرَ أَنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَسْمَعَهُ مِنْكَ قَالَ فَنَظَرَ فِيهِ ثُمَّ طَوَاهُ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ شَقَّ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هُوَ حَقٌّ فَحَوِّلْهُ فِي أَدِيمٍ.
Basa'ir al-Darajat: Hamza b. 'Abd Allah al-Ja'fari related from Abu al-Hasan, who said: I wrote on a sheet of paper: The likeness of the world before the Imam is like half a walnut; and I took it to Imam al-Hadi, peace be upon him, and said: May I be your ransom! One of our companions relates a hadith which we do not deny, only I would like to hear it from you. — He said: — Then the Imam looked at it and folded it up. I thought it had weighed heavy upon him. Then he said: It is true; transfer it to parchment.
