وكاشف الكرب إذا خطبه أعيى على واردها المصدر كبر لله وصلى وما صلى ذوو العيث ولا كبروا تدبيرهم أدى إلى ما أتوا تبا لهم يا بئس ما دبروا وقال العباس بن عبد المطلب : عجبت لقوم أمروا غير هاشم على هاشم رهط النبي محمد وليس بأكفاء لهم في عظيمة ولا نظراء في فعال وسؤدد وقال عتبة بن أبي سفيان بن عبد المطلب : وكان ولي الأمر من بعد أحمد علي وفي كل المواطن صاحبه وصي رسول الله حقا وعنهم 7 وأول من صلى ومن لان جانبه وقال عتبة بن أبي لهب بن عبد المطلب : تولت بنو تيم على هاشم ظلما وزادوا عليا عن إمارته قدما
