ثم يبتدي بها الوجع فتمرض فيبعث الله عز وجل إليها مريم بنت عمران تمرضها وتؤنسها في علتها فتقول عند ذلك : يا رب إني قد سئمت الحياة وتبرمت بأهل الدنيا فألحقني بأبي فيلحقها الله عز وجل بي فتكون أول من يلحقني من أهل بيتي ، فتقدم علي محزونة مكروبة مغمومة ، مغصوبة ، مقتولة فأقول عند ذلك : " اللهم العن من ظلمها ، وعاقب من غصبها ، وذلل من أذلها ، وخلد في نارك من ضرب جنينها حتى ألقت ولدها " فتقول الملائكة عند ذلك آمين 1 .

Then the sickness will begin with her and she will fall ill; and God, mighty and exalted, will send to her Maryam bint 'Imran to nurse her and to comfort her in her illness. And she will say at that: My Lord, I have wearied of life and grown weary of the people of this world; join me to my father. So God, mighty and exalted, will join her to me, and she will be the first of the people of my house to join me. She will come to me sorrowful, stricken, grieved, despoiled, slain. And I shall say at that: O God, curse whoever wronged her, and punish whoever usurped from her, and abase whoever abased her, and make everlasting in Your Fire whoever struck her side so that she cast forth her child. And the angels will say at that: Amen. [1]
