الباب الثاني في فضلها وجلالها وزهدها وعبادتها وعلمها ومكارم أخلاقها وحب النبي صلى الله عليه وآله إياها فصل كانت فاطمة صلوات الله عليها من أهل العباء والمباهلة والمهاجرة في أصعب وقت وكانت فيمن نزلت فيهم آية التطهير وافتخر جبرئيل بكونه منهم وشهد الله لهم بالصدق ولها أمومة الأئمة عليهم السلام وعقب الرسول صلى الله عليه وآله إلى يوم القيامة وهي سيدة نساء العالمين ، من الأولين والآخرين .

Chapter Two: on her merit, her majesty, her asceticism, her worship, her knowledge, the nobility of her character, and the love the Prophet, may God bless him and his Family, bore her. Section. Fatima, God's blessings be upon her, was of the People of the Cloak, of the Mubahala, and of those who migrated in the hardest of times. She was among those concerning whom the verse of Purification was revealed; Gabriel took pride in being counted of them; and God bore witness to their truthfulness. To her belongs the motherhood of the Imams, peace be upon them, and the posterity of the Messenger, may God bless him and his Family, until the Day of Resurrection. She is the Mistress of the Women of the Worlds, of the first of them and of the last.

وكانت أشبه الناس كلاما وحديثا برسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله تحكي شيمتها شيمته وما تخرم مشيتها مشيته وكانت إذا دخلت عليه ، رحب بها وقبل يديها وأجلسها في مجلسه ، فإذا دخل عليها قامت إليه فرحبت به وقبلت يديه .

She was the most like of all people to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family, in speech and in discourse; her nature told of his nature, and her walk did not depart from his walk. When she came in to him he would welcome her, kiss her hands and seat her in his own place; and when he came in to her she would rise to him, welcome him and kiss his hands.

وكان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله يكثر تقبيلها وكلما اشتاق إلى رائحة الجنة يشم رائحتها وكان يقول : " فاطمة بضعة مني من سرها فقد سرني ومن سائها فقد سائني ، فاطمة أعز الناس إلي " 1 إلى غير ذلك مما يكشف عن كثرة محبته صلى الله عليه وآله

The Prophet, may God bless him and his Family, would kiss her often, and whenever he longed for the scent of the Garden he would smell her scent. He used to say: “Fatima is a part of me; whoever gladdens her has gladdened me, and whoever grieves her has grieved me. Fatima is the dearest of people to me.” [1] — besides other things that disclose the abundance of his love, may God bless him and his Family,
