فتب الله ، فمن يقترف ذنبا بنا ، يغفر له ما جنى أكرم لعين المصطفى ، جدهم ولا تهن ، من آله أعينا فكلما نالك منهم ، عنا تلقى به ، في الحشر منا هنا قال أبو المحاسن نصر الله بن عنين : فانتبهت من منامي فزعا مرعوبا وقد أكمل الله عافيتي من الجرح والمرض ، فكتبت هذه الأبيات ، وحفظتها ، وتبت إلى الله تعالى مما قلت وقطعت تلك القصيدة .

So repent to God; for whoever commits a sin against us, he is forgiven what he has perpetrated. — Show honour for the sake of the eye of al-Mustafa, their grandfather, and do not despise any eyes of his Family. — For whatever reaches you from them, you will meet from us, on the Day of Gathering, with what is pleasant. — Abu al-Mahasin Nasr Allah b. 'Unayn said: I awoke from my sleep, alarmed and terrified, and God had completed my recovery from the wound and the sickness. So I wrote down these verses and committed them to memory, and I repented to God Most High of what I had said, and I cut that ode away.

عذرا إلى ، بنت نبي الهدى تصفح عن ذنب مسيئ جنا وتوبة تقبلها ، من أخي مقالة ، توقعه في العنا والله لو قطعني واحد منهم ، بسيف البغي أو بالقنا لم أر ما يفعله سيئا بل أره في الفعل قد أحسنا 15

An excuse offered to the daughter of the Prophet of guidance: overlook the sin of an evildoer who has transgressed, — and a repentance you may accept from a brother whose speech cast him into distress. — By God, were one of them to cut me down with the sword of oppression or with the spear, — I would not see what he does as evil; rather I would see him, in the deed, to have done well.
