نجئ ولا نلي من أمرك شيئا . فاغتمت خديجة عليها السلام لذلك ، إذ دخل عليها أربع نسوة سمر 14 .

come, nor attend to any part of your affair. Khadija, peace be upon her, was grieved at that — when four tawny women [14] came in upon her,

طوال ، كأنهن من نساء بني هاشم ففزعت منهن ، لما رأتهن ، فقالت إحديهن : لا تحزني يا خديجة ، فإنا رسل ربك إليك ونحن أخواتك ، أن سارة وهذه آسية بنت ، مزاحم وهي رفيقتك في الجنة وهذه مريم بنت عمران وهذه كلثم أخت موسى بن عمران ، بعثنا الله إليك لنلي منك ما تلي النساء من النساء ، فجلست واحدة عن يمينها وأخرى عن يسارها ، والثالثة بين يديها ، والرابعة من خلفها ، فوضعت فاطمة طاهرة مطهرة .

tall, as though they were of the women of Banu Hashim. She took fright at them when she saw them, and one of them said: Do not grieve, O Khadija, for we are the messengers of your Lord to you, and we are your sisters. I am Sara; and this is Asiya bint Muzahim, who is your companion in the Garden; and this is Maryam bint 'Imran; and this is Kulthum the sister of Musa b. 'Imran. God has sent us to you, to attend you in what women do for women. So one sat at her right, another at her left, the third before her and the fourth behind her; and she gave birth to Fatima, pure and purified.

فلما سقطت إلى الأرض أشرق منها النور حتى دخل بيوتات مكة ، ولم يبق في شرق الأرض وغربها موضع إلا أشرق فيه ذلك النور ودخل عشر من الحور العين كل واحدة منهن معها طست من الجنة ، وإبريق من الجنة وفي الإبريق ماء من الكوثر ، فتناولتها المرأة التي كانت بين يديها فغسلتها بماء الكوثر ، وأخرجت خرقتين بيضاوتين أشد بياضا من اللبن وأطيب ريحا من المسك والعنبر ، فلفتها بواحدة وقنعتها بالثانية ، ثم استنطقتها ، فنطقت فاطمة بالشهادتين وقالت : " أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله .

When she came forth to the earth, a light shone from her until it entered the houses of Mecca, and there remained no place in the east of the earth or in its west but that light shone in it. And ten of the houris came in, each one of them with a basin from the Garden and an ewer from the Garden, and in the ewer was water from al-Kawthar. The woman who was before her took her and washed her with the water of al-Kawthar, and brought out two white cloths, whiter than milk and sweeter of scent than musk and ambergris; she wrapped her in one and veiled her with the second. Then she bade her speak, and Fatima uttered the two testimonies and said: I bear witness that there is no god but God,

وأن أبي رسول الله سيد الأنبياء ، وأن بعلي سيد الأوصياء ، وولدي سادة الأسباط " .

and that my father is the Messenger of God, master of the prophets; and that my husband is the master of the legatees; and that my sons are the masters of the grandsons.

ثم سلمت عليهن ، وسمت كل واحدة منهن باسمها ، وأقبلن يضحكن إليها ، وتباشرت الحور العين ، وبشر أهل السماء بعضهم بعضا بولادة فاطمة عليها السلام ، وحدث في السماء نور زاهر لم تره الملائكة قبل ذلك وقالت النسوة : خذيها يا خديجة طاهرة ، مطهرة ، زكية ، ميمونة ، بورك فيها ، وفي نسلها .

Then she greeted them, and named each one of them by her name, and they turned to her smiling. The houris rejoiced, and the people of heaven gave one another glad tidings of the birth of Fatima, peace be upon her; and there came to be in heaven a brilliant light that the angels had not seen before that. The women said: Take her, O Khadija — pure, purified, unsullied and blessed; blessed is she, and blessed is her progeny.

فناولتها فرحة مستبشرة وألقمتها ثديها فدر عليها ، فكانت فاطمة عليها السلام تنمي كما ينمي الصبي في الشهر وتنمي في الشهر كما ينمي الصبي في السنة 14 .

So she took her, glad and rejoicing, and gave her her breast, and it flowed for her. And Fatima, peace be upon her, would grow as a child grows in a month, and would grow in a month as a child grows in a year. [14]
