بتحرير بيانه البنان ، ولعل تخصيص الرطب والعنب ، لكثرة بركتهما وما يتولد منهما من المنافع ، فإنه ليس في الأشجار ما يبلغ نفعها نفعهما مع أنهما خلقتا من فضلة طينة آدم عليه السلام ، ولا يبعد أن يكون في ذلك إشارة إلى كثرة نفع هذه النسلة الطاهرة المباركة ، وكثرة ذريتها ، وبركاتها ، كما قد نؤمي إليها إنشاء الله تعالى في محلها .
the fingers to set down in writing. Perhaps the singling out of the fresh dates and the grapes was for the abundance of their blessing and the benefits that arise from them, for there is nothing among the trees whose usefulness attains to theirs — and this though the two were created from the remainder of the clay of Adam, peace be upon him. Nor is it far-fetched that in this there is an indication of the abundant benefit of this pure and blessed offspring, and of the multitude of her progeny and her blessings, as we shall hint at, God Most High willing, in its place.
وأما قول جبرئيل للنبي صلى الله عليه وآله : " الصلاة محرمة عليك في وقتك ، فالظاهر : إنها الصلاة النافلة دون الفريضة ، فإنه كان يقدمها على الإفطار والله أعلم بحقيقة الأحوال .
As for Gabriel's words to the Prophet, may God bless him and his Family — “Prayer is forbidden to you at this your hour” — what appears to be meant is the supererogatory prayer and not the obligatory, for he used to perform it before breaking his fast. God knows best the reality of the matter.
روى الشيخ الصدوق رضي الله عنه في الأمالي بسنده عن المفضل بن عمر - قال : - قلت لأبي عبد الله الصادق عليه السلام : كيف كان ولادة فاطمة عليها السلام فقال : نعم ، إن خديجة رضي الله عنها لما تزوج بها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله هجرتها نسوان مكة ، فلم يدخلن عليها ولا يسلمن عليها ولا يتركن امرأة تدخل عليها ، فاستوحشت خديجة لذلك ، وكان جزعها ، وغمها حذرا عليه صلى الله عليه وآله فلما حملت بفاطمة سلام الله عليها كانت فاطمة عليها السلام تحدثها من بطنها ، وتصبرها ، وكانت تكتم ذلك من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله .
Al-Shaykh al-Saduq, may God be pleased with him, related in al-Amali, with his chain, from al-Mufaddal b. 'Umar, who said: I said to Abu 'Abd Allah al-Sadiq, peace be upon him: How was the birth of Fatima, peace be upon her? He said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family, married Khadija, may God be pleased with her, the women of Mecca shunned her; they would not visit her, nor greet her, nor let any woman visit her. Khadija was made desolate by that, and her distress and her grief were out of fear for him, may God bless him and his Family. Then when she conceived Fatima, peace be upon her, Fatima would speak to her from within her and comfort her; and she kept that hidden from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family.
فدخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله يوما . فسمع خديجة تحدث فاطمة عليها السلام . فقال لها : يا خديجة لمن تحدثين ؟
One day the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family, came in and heard Khadija speaking with Fatima, peace be upon her. He said to her: O Khadija, with whom are you speaking?
قالت : الجنين الذي في بطني يحدثني ويؤنسني ، قال : يا خديجة هذا جبرئيل يخبرني إنها أنثى .
She said: The child that is within me speaks to me and keeps me company. He said: O Khadija, this is Gabriel, who tells me that she is a girl,
وإنها النسلة الطاهرة الميمونة وإن الله تبارك وتعالى سيجعل نسلي منها ، وسيجعل من نسلها الأئمة ، ويجعلهم خلفاء في أرضه بعد انقضاء وحيه .
and that she is the pure and blessed offspring; and that God, blessed and exalted, will make my progeny from her, and will make from her progeny the Imams, and will appoint them His successors in His earth after the ending of His revelation.
فلم تزل خديجة على ذلك إلى أن حضرت ولادتها ، فوجهت إلى نساء قريش وبني هاشم أن تعالين لتلين مني ما تلي النساء من النساء .
Khadija remained thus until her delivery drew near. Then she sent word to the women of Quraysh and of Banu Hashim: Come and attend me in what women do for women.
فأرسلن إليها أنت عصيتنا ولم تقبلي قولنا وتزوجت محمدا يتيم أبي طالب فقير لا مال له ، فلسنا
But they sent back to her: You disobeyed us and did not accept our word; you married Muhammad, the orphan of Abu Talib, a poor man with no wealth. So we shall not
