وسلمت عليها وقلت : يا سيدة النسوان قد والله قطعت أنياط قلبي 8 من بكائك فقالت : يا أبا عمر ، ويحق لي البكاء فلقد أصبته بخير الآباء رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله واشوقاه إلى رسول الله ثم أنشأت تقول : إذا مات يوما ميت قل ذكره * وذكر أبي مذ مات والله أكثر 9 وعن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال : إن فاطمة بنت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله مكثت بعد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله ستين يوما ثم مرضت فاشتد علتها ، فكان من دعائها في شكواها : يا حي يا قيوم برحمتك أستغيث فأغثني ، اللهم زحزحني عن النار وأدخلني الجنة وألحقني بأبي محمد صلى الله عليه وآله ، فكان أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام يقول لها : يعافيك الله ويبقيك ، فتقول : يا أبا الحسن ما أسرع اللحاق بالله وأوصته أن يتزوج أمامة بنت أبي العاص وقالت : بنت أختي وتحنى [ وتحنن في البحار ] على ولدي 10 .

and greeted her and said: O mistress of women, by God you have cut the cords of my heart [8] with your weeping. And she said: O Abu 'Umar, it is right for me to weep; for I have been stricken in the best of fathers, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family. Oh, my longing for the Messenger of God! Then she began to say: — When one dies on a day, the mention of him grows little; — but the mention of my father, since he died, by God, is greater. [9] And from Abu Ja'far, peace be upon him, who said: Fatima, the daughter of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family, remained after the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family, sixty days; then she fell ill and her sickness grew severe. And of her supplication in her illness was: O Living, O Self-Subsisting, by Your mercy I seek help — so help me. O God, remove me far from the Fire and admit me to the Garden and join me to my father Muhammad, may God bless him and his Family. And the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, would say to her: May God grant you health and keep you. And she would say: O Abu al-Hasan, how swift is the meeting with God! And she charged him to marry Umama bint Abi al-'As, and said: She is my sister's daughter, and she will be tender to my children. [10]

[ وصيتها لعلي عليهما السلام ] وفي رواية أخرى قالت لأمير المؤمنين عليه السلام : إن لي إليك حاجة يا أبا الحسن ، قال : تقضى يا بنت رسول الله ، فقالت نشدتك بالله وبحق محمد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله أن لا يصلي علي أبو بكر وعمر ، فإني لا كتمتك حديثا فقالت : قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله : يا فاطمة إنك أول من يلحق بي من أهل بيتي فكنت
