أكره أن أسوءك 11 . وعن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال : بدو مرض فاطمة عليها السلام بعد خمسين ليلة من وفات رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله فعلمت أنها الوفاة ، فاجتمعت لذلك تأمر عليا عليه السلام بأمرها وتوصيه بوصيتها وتعهد إليه عهودها ، وأمير المؤمنين عليه السلام يجزع لذلك ويطيعها في جميع ما تأمره ، فقالت : يا أبا الحسن إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله عهد إلي وحدثني أني أول أهله لحوقا به ولا بد مما لا بد منه ، فاصبر لأمر الله وارض بقضائه قال : وأوصته بغسلها وجهازها ودفنها ليلا ، ففعل 12 .

[11] And from Abu Ja'far, peace be upon him, who said: The beginning of Fatima's illness, peace be upon her, was after fifty nights from the death of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family. And she knew that it was death; so she gathered herself for that, charging 'Ali, peace be upon him, with her affair and giving him her bequest and making her covenants with him. And the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, was in anguish at that, and obeyed her in all that she commanded him. And she said: O Abu al-Hasan, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family, made a covenant with me and told me that I am the first of his family to join him; and there is no escape from what there is no escape from. So be patient at the command of God, and be content with His decree. He said: And she charged him with her washing and her preparation and her burial by night; and he did so. [12]

وعن ابن عباس ، قال : رأت فاطمة عليها السلام في منامها النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قالت : فشكوته إليه من نالنا من بعده قالت : قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله لكم الدار الآخرة التي أعدت للمتقين وأنك قادمة علي عن قريب 13 .

And from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: Fatima, peace be upon her, saw the Prophet, may God bless him and his Family, in her sleep. She said: So I complained to him of what befell us after him. She said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and his Family, said to me: Yours is the abode of the hereafter which has been prepared for the God-fearing; and you shall come to me before long.
