نِسَاءَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ إِذَا حِضْنَ قَضَيْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَ أَنَّ وَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ مَا كَانَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْ ءٌ وَ لَا حَدَّثَهُ وَ أَمَّا أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ فَكَذَبَ عَلَيَّ وَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَمَرْتُهُ أَنْ لَا يُصَلِّيَ هُوَ وَ أَصْحَابُهُ الْمَغْرِبَ حَتَّى يَرَوْا كَوَاكِبَ ١ كَذَا فَقَالَ الْقُنْدَانِيُّ وَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَكَوْكَبٌ مَا أَعْرِفُهُ.

that the women of the family of Muhammad, may God bless him and his family, when they menstruate make up their prayers. May God curse him — there is no such thing, and he never related it to him. As for what follows, Abu al-Khattab ascribes lies to me. He has said: I commanded him and his companions not to pray the sunset prayer until a certain star is seen. Al-Qindani says: By God, we know of no such star.

«65»- كش، رجال الكشي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عليه السلام قَالَ: قَالَ لِي يَا جَمِيلُ لَا تُحَدِّثْ أَصْحَابَنَا بِمَا لَمْ يُجْمِعُوا عَلَيْهِ فَيُكَذِّبُوكَ.

Rijal al-Kashshi: Jamil b. Darraj relates from Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, that he said to me: O Jamil, do not relate to our companions what they are not agreed upon, for they will call you a liar.

«66»- كش، رجال الكشي الْقُتَيْبِيُّ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الْمُهْتَدِی وَ كَانَ خَيْرَ قُمِّيٍّ رَأَيْتُهُ وَ كَانَ وَكِيلَ الرِّضَا عليه السلام وَ خَاصَّتَهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الرِّضَا عليه السلام فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي لَا أَلْقَاكَ كُلَّ وَقْتٍ فَعَمَّنْ آخُذُ مَعَالِمَ دِينِي قَالَ خُذْ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ.

Rijal al-Kashshi: Al-Fadl says: 'Abd al-'Aziz b. al-Muhtadi of Qum, who was a good man and whom I had seen, and who was the agent and one of the close associates of al-Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him, says: I asked al-Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him: I cannot meet you whenever [I wish], so from whom shall I take the marks of my religion? He said: From Yunus b. 'Abd al-Rahman.

«67»- كش، رجال الكشي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نُصَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الْمُهْتَدِي قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى وَ حَدَّثَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَقْطِينٍ بِذَلِكَ أَيْضاً قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا عليه السلام جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ لَا أَكَادُ أَصِلُ إِلَيْكَ لِأَسْأَلَكَ عَنْ كُلِّ مَا أَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ مَعَالِمِ دِينِي أَ فَيُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثِقَةٌ آخُذُ عَنْهُ مَا أَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ مَعَالِمِ دِينِي فَقَالَ نَعَمْ.

Rijal al-Kashshi: Muhammad b. Nusayr says: Muhammad b. 'Isa b. Yaqtin said: We said in the presence of al-Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him: May I be your ransom! I cannot always come to you and ask about all the questions I need. Is Yunus b. 'Abd al-Rahman trustworthy and reliable, so that I may ask him the questions of religion I need? He said: Yes.

كش، رجال الكشي جبرئيل بن أحمد عن محمد بن عيسى عن عبد العزيز مثله.

Rijal al-Kashshi: 'Abd al-'Aziz related the like of it.

«68»- كش، رجال الكشي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُولَوَيْهِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلرِّضَا عليه السلام شُقَّتِي بَعِيدَةٌ ٢ وَ لَسْتُ أَصِلُ إِلَيْكَ فِي كُلِّ وَقْتٍ فَمِمَّنْ آخُذُ مَعَالِمَ دِينِي قَالَ مِنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ آدَمَ الْقُمِّيِّ الْمَأْمُونِ عَلَى الدِّينِ وَ الدُّنْيَا قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفْتُ قَدِمْنَا عَلَى زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ آدَمَ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَمَّا احْتَجْتُ إِلَيْهِ.

Rijal al-Kashshi: 'Ali b. al-Musayyab says: I said in the presence of al-Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him: My road is long and I cannot come to you whenever I wish; from whom shall I take the questions of my religion? He said: From Zakariyya b. Adam of Qum, who is trustworthy in this world and the next. 'Ali b. al-Musayyab says: When I returned to Qum I went to Zakariyya b. Adam and asked him the questions of religion that I needed.

«69»- يب، تهذيب الأحكام مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الْبَجَلِيِ

Tahzib al-Ahkam:

(١)1- و في نسخة: حتى يروا كوكباIn one copy: "hatta yaraw kawkaban".
(٢)2- الشّقة بضم الشين و فتحها و تشديد القاف: الناحية يقصدها المسافر، و المسافة التي يشقّها السائر"Al-shuqqa" — with damma or fatha on the shin and a doubled qaf — is the region a traveller sets out for, and the distance that the traveller traverses.
