«64»- dh, Rawdat al-Wa'izin: The Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, said: O believer, indeed this knowledge and refinement are the price of your soul, so strive in the learning of them both; for whatever increases of your knowledge and your refinement increases in your price and your worth. For by knowledge you are guided to your Lord, and by refinement you perform well the service of your Lord; and by the refinement of service the servant merits His guardianship and His nearness. So accept the counsel, that you may be saved from the punishment.

«65»- dh, Rawdat al-Wa'izin: The Prophet — may God bless him and his family — said: Seek knowledge, even in China; for the seeking of knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.

«66»- And he — may God bless him and his family — said: Whoever learns a single question, God will hang upon him on the Day of Resurrection a thousand necklaces of light, and forgive him a thousand sins, and build for him a city of gold, and write for him, for every hair upon his body, a pilgrimage.

«67»- dh, Rawdat al-Wa'izin: The Prophet — may God bless him and his family — said: Whoever learns a door of knowledge — whether he acts by it or does not act — it is more excellent than that he should pray a thousand cycles of voluntary prayer.

«68»- ma, the Amali of al-Shaykh al-Tusi: The Messenger of God — may God bless him and his family — said: Indeed the servant, when he goes out in the seeking of knowledge, God, mighty and majestic, calls to him from above the Throne: Welcome to you (1), O My servant! Do you know what station you seek and what degree you aspire to (2)? You resemble (3) My angels brought near, that you may be a companion to them. I shall surely bring you to your aim, and I shall surely join you to your need. And it was said to 'Ali b. al-Husayn, peace be upon them both: What is the meaning of the resembling of the angels of God, mighty and majestic, brought near, that he may be a companion to them? He said: Have you not heard the words of God, mighty and majestic: "God bears witness that there is no god but He, and the angels, and those possessed of knowledge, upholding justice; there is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise"? So He began with Himself, and made second His angels, and made third those possessed of knowledge, who are the companions of His angels; and their master is Muhammad, may God bless him and his family, and the second of them is 'Ali, peace be upon him, and the third of them is his family and the most deserving of them of his rank after him. 'Ali b. al-Husayn said: Then you, O company of the Shi'a, the learned by our knowledge, are ta'wilun (4) [taluna lana — followers of us], joined to us and to the angels of God brought near

That is, you have met with room and welcome.
That is, you desire.
