و قال السيد علي بن طاوس رضي اللّٰه عنه في كتاب أمان الأخطار و يصحب المسافر معه كتاب الإهليلجة و هو كتاب مناظرة الصادق عليه السلام الهندي في معرفة اللّٰه جل جلاله بطرق غريبة عجيبة ضرورية حتى أقر الهندي بالإلهية و الوحدانية و يصحب معه كتاب المفضل بن عمر الذي رواه عن الصادق عليه السلام في معرفة وجوه الحكمة في إنشاء العالم السفلي و إظهار أسراره فإنه عجيب في معناه و يصحب معه كتاب مصباح الشريعة و مفتاح الحقيقة عن الصادق عليه السلام فإنه كتاب شريف لطيف في التعريف بالتسليك إلى اللّٰه جل جلاله و الإقبال عليه و الظفر بالأسرار التي اشتملت عليه انتهى.

And al-Sayyid 'Ali b. Tawus, God be pleased with him, said in the Book of Aman al-Akhtar: "Let the traveller take with him the Book of al-Ihlilaja, which is the book of al-Sadiq's disputation, peace be upon him, with the Indian concerning the knowledge of God, majestic is His majesty, by remarkable, wondrous and compelling arguments, until the Indian acknowledged the divinity and the oneness. And let him take with him the book of al-Mufaddal b. 'Umar which he transmitted from al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, on the knowledge of the aspects of wisdom in the fashioning of the lower world and the disclosure of its secrets, for it is wondrous in its meaning. And let him take with him the Book of Misbah al-Shari'a wa Miftah al-Haqiqa from al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, for it is a noble and subtle book in acquainting one with the way of travelling to God, majestic is His majesty, of turning toward Him, and of attaining the secrets it contains." و كتاب التفسير الذي رواه الصادق عن أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام المشتمل على أنواع آيات القرآن و شرح ألفاظه برواية محمد بن إبراهيم النعماني و سيأتي بتمامه في كتاب القرآن.

And the Book of Commentary which al-Sadiq transmitted from the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, containing the kinds of the verses of the Qur'an and an explanation of its wordings, in the transmission of Muhammad b. Ibrahim al-Nu'mani; it will come in full in the Book of the Qur'an.

و كتاب ناسخ القرآن و منسوخه و محكمه و متشابهه للشيخ الثقة الجليل القدر سعد بن عبد اللّٰه الأشعري رواه عنه جعفر بن محمد بن قولويه و ستأتي الإشارة إليه أيضا في كتاب القرآن.

And the Book of Nasikh al-Qur'an wa Mansukhihi wa Muhkamihi wa Mutashabihihi, by the trustworthy Shaykh of eminent standing Sa'd b. 'Abd Allah al-Ash'ari, transmitted from him by Ja'far b. Muhammad b. Qulawayh; reference will also be made to it in the Book of the Qur'an.

و كتاب المقالات و الفرق و أسمائها و صنوفها تأليف الشيخ الأجل المتقدم سعد بن عبد اللّٰه رحمه اللّٰه.

And the Book of al-Maqalat wa'l-Firaq wa Asma'iha wa Sunufiha, the composition of the aforementioned most eminent Shaykh Sa'd b. 'Abd Allah, God have mercy on him.

و كتاب سليم بن قيس الهلالي.

And the Book of Sulaym b. Qays al-Hilali.

و كتاب قبس المصباح من مؤلفات الشيخ الفاضل أبي الحسن سليمان بن الحسن الصهرشتي من مشاهير تلامذة شيخ الطائفة في الدعاء و هو يروي عن جماعة منهم أبو يعلى محمد بن الحسن بن حمزة الجعفري و شيخ الطائفة و أبو الحسين أحمد بن علي الكوفي النجاشي و أبو الفرج المظفر بن علي بن حمدان القزويني عن الشيخ المفيد رضي اللّٰه عنهم أجمعين.

And the Book of Qabas al-Misbah, among the compositions of the eminent Shaykh Abu al-Hasan Sulayman b. al-Hasan al-Sahrashti, one of the well-known students of the Shaykh of the community, on supplication. He transmits from a number of scholars, among them Abu Ya'la Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Hamza al-Ja'fari, the Shaykh of the community, Abu al-Husayn Ahmad b. 'Ali al-Kufi al-Najashi, and Abu al-Faraj al-Muzaffar b. 'Ali b. Hamdan al-Qazwini from al-Shaykh al-Mufid, God be pleased with them all.

و كتاب إصباح الشيعة بمصباح الشريعة له أيضا.

And the Book of Isbah al-Shi'a bi-Misbah al-Shari'a, likewise his.

و كتاب الصراط المستقيم و رسالة الباب المفتوح إلى ما قيل في النفس و الروح

And the Book of al-Sirat al-Mustaqim and the Epistle of al-Bab al-Maftuh ila ma Qila fi'l-Nafs wa'l-Ruh,
