ومؤلفاته " التي هي أعدل شاهد وأصدق ناطق ) قاضية بذلك ، إذ قلما يكون بيت من بيوت الشيعة الإمامية ولم يكن فيه واحد من تآليفه القيمة ، ولا أقل من كتابه " المفاتيح " الذي يتواجد في كل المشاهد المشرفة ، وذلك شاهد صدق على ولائه للمقبورين فيها عليهم السلام .

His writings — which are the fairest witness and the most truthful speaker — attest to that. For there is scarcely a household among the Imami Shi'a in which one of his valuable works is not to be found; at the very least his book al-Mafatih, which is present in every one of the noble shrines, and that is a truthful witness to his devotion to those buried in them, peace be upon them.

فعلى هذا فلا يسعنا في هذا المجال الضيق سرد جميع أحوالاته ، وضبط تمام خصائصه ، ونحيل من أراد ذلك إلى محله في كتب لتراجم ، ونوصي إخواننا العجم بقراءة الكتاب المؤلف بالفارسية في أحوالات المؤلف باسم : " حاج شيخ عباس قمي - مرد فضيلت وتقوا " وهو من تأليفات الشيخ علي دواني " وفيه مع تمثاله الشريف نماذج من خطه الجميل ) .

That being so, this narrow space does not permit us to set out all his circumstances or to record his qualities in full. We refer whoever desires that to its proper place in the books of biography, and we counsel our non-Arab brethren to read the book composed in Persian on the author's life, entitled Hajj Shaykh 'Abbas Qummi: a man of virtue and piety, which is among the writings of al-Shaykh 'Ali Dawani — and in it, together with his noble likeness, are specimens of his beautiful hand.
