إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا۝١

1When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking,

وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا۝٢

2And the earth brings forth her burdens,

وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا۝٣

3And man says: What has befallen her?

يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا۝٤

4On that day she shall tell her news,

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا۝٥

5Because your Lord had inspired her.

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ۝٦

6On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works.

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ۝٧

7So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ۝٨

8And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it.
