مُنْيَةُ الْمُرِيدِ، عَنْهُ صلى اللّٰه عليه و آله مِثْلَهُ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ فَبَخِلَ بِهِ عَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ وَ أَخَذَ عَلَيْهِ طَمَعاً وَ اشْتَرَی بِهِ ثَمَناً وَ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنَ الْحِسَابِ

Munyat al-Murid: The like of the above hadith is related from the Messenger of God — may God bless him and his family — except that at its end it has: one who is miserly with it towards God's servants and withholds his knowledge out of greed and sells it for a paltry price; and that angel keeps crying out until the people are done with the reckoning.

«26»- ختص، الإختصاص قَالَ الرِّضَا عليه السلام مِنْ عَلَامَاتِ الْفِقْهِ الْحِلْمُ وَ الْعِلْمُ وَ الصَّمْتُ.

Al-Ikhtisas: Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him, said: Among the marks of understanding in religion are forbearance, knowledge and silence.

«27»- ختص، الإختصاص فُرَاتُ بْنُ أَحْنَفَ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عليه السلام تَبَذَّلْ لَا تُشْهَرْ وَ وَارِ شَخْصَكَ لَا تُذْكَرْ وَ تَعَلَّمْ وَ اكْتُمْ وَ اصْمُتْ تَسْلَمْ قَالَ وَ أَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ فَقَالَ يَسُرُّ الْأَبْرَارَ وَ يَغِيظُ الْفُجَّارَ.

Al-Ikhtisas: The Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, said: Be generous and do not become renowned; show yourself but do not fall upon people's tongues; learn, and conceal; be silent and you will remain safe — and he pointed with his noble hand to his breast and said: Let the righteous be gladdened and the wicked angered.

بيان: قال الجزري في حديث الاستسقاء فخرج متبذلا التبذل ترك التزين و التهيؤ بالهيئة الحسنة الجميلة على جهة التواضع انتهى أقول يحتمل هنا معنى آخر بأن يكون المراد ابتذال النفس بالخدمة و ارتكاب خسائس الأعمال و الإيماء إلى الصدر لبيان تعيين الفرد الكامل من الأبرار.

Al-Jazari said: in the hadith of the prayer for rain it has "fa-kharaja mutabadhdhilan", that is, he went out in a good appearance and comely form. Al-Majlisi says: another sense is possible here, namely that what is meant is putting the soul to service and performing lowly tasks; and his pointing to his own breast was to designate the perfect one among the righteous.

«28»- ما، الأمالي للشيخ الطوسي جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عليهما السلام قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللّٰه عليه و آله مِنْ فِقْهِ الرَّجُلِ قِلَّةُ كَلَامِهِ فِيمَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ.

Amali of al-Shaykh al-Tusi: Sulaym b. Qays related from 'Ali, peace be upon him, that the Messenger of God — may God bless him and his family — said: Part of a man's knowledge and understanding is to speak little about what brings him no benefit.

«29»- ما، الأمالي للشيخ الطوسي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْقَزْوِينِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ وَهْبَانَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الزَّعْفَرَانِيِّ عَنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عليه السلام قَالَ: إِنَّ أَعْظَمَ النَّاسِ حَسْرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ وَصَفَ عَدْلًا ثُمَّ خَالَفَهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ.

Amali of al-Shaykh al-Tusi: Ibn Abi Ya'fur related from Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, that he said: The most regretful of people on the Day of Resurrection is one who describes and expounds justice and does not himself act upon it.

بيان: أي بين للناس خيرا و لم يعمل به أو قبل دينا حقا و أظهره و لم يعمل بمقتضاه.

That is, he sets out some good for people and does not act upon it himself; or he accepts the true religion and professes it, but does not act according to what it requires.

«30»- نَوَادِرُ الرَّاوَنْدِيِّ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عليهم السلام قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللّٰه عليه و آله يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ الْمُقَنِّطِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُغَلَّبَةً وُجُوهُهُمْ يَعْنِي غَلَبَةَ السَّوَادِ عَلَى الْبَيَاضِ فَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ الْمُقَنِّطُونَ مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ.

Nawadir al-Rawandi: Imam Musa al-Kazim, peace be upon him, related from his forefathers that the Messenger of God — may God bless him and his family — said: On the Day of Resurrection God shall raise up the despairing with blackened faces, and it will be said: These are those who despaired of God's mercy.

«31»- ما، الأمالي للشيخ الطوسي ابْنُ الصَّلْتِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُقْدَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الضَّرِيرِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا
