Basa'ir al-Darajat: Al-Husayn b. 'Uthman related from one who informed him, from Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, that he said: I say one word that has seventy aspects, and from every one of them a way out is open to me.

Basa'ir al-Darajat: Kamil al-Tammar says: Imam al-Baqir, peace be upon him, said to me: Do you know what God means by "Successful indeed are the believers"? I said: May I be your ransom! They have prospered and entered Paradise. He said: Those who submit have prospered; truly the Muslims are the noble ones.

Basa'ir al-Darajat: Al-Kahili says: Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, recited the verse "But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in what is in dispute among them, and then find within themselves no discomfort [or doubt] at what you have decided, and submit in full submission", and said: If a people worship the One God yet, concerning something the Prophet, may God bless him and his family, has done, say: Would that the Prophet had done thus — or think this in their minds — these are idolaters. Then he said: God has said: "But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in what is in dispute among them, and then find within themselves no discomfort at what you have decided, and submit in full submission." What is meant by it is submission in all matters.
