ذي الفقار ١بن معبد الحسني المروزي عن أبي عبد اللّٰه محمد بن علي الحلواني ٢عنهما و بحق روايتي عن السيد المنتهى عن أبيه أبي زيد و عن محمد بن علي الفتال الفارسي عن أبيه الحسن كليهما عن المرتضى و قد سمع المنتهى و الفتال بقراءة أبويهما عليه أيضا و ما سمعنا من القاضي الحسن الأسترآبادي عن ابن المعافي بن قدامة عنه أيضا و ما صح لنا من طريق الشيخ أبي جعفر عنه و روى السيد المنتهى عن أبيه عن الشريف الرضي.
Dhu al-Fiqar (1) b. Ma'bad al-Hasani al-Marwazi, from Abu 'Abd Allah Muhammad b. 'Ali al-Hulwani (2), from them both; and by right of my narration from al-Sayyid al-Muntaha, from his father Abu Zayd, and from Muhammad b. 'Ali al-Fattal al-Farisi, from his father al-Hasan — both of them from al-Murtada. And al-Muntaha and al-Fattal also heard it by their fathers' recitation to him. And what we heard from the judge al-Hasan al-Astarabadi, from Ibn al-Mu'afa b. Qudama, from him also; and what is sound for us by way of al-Shaykh Abu Ja'far, from him. And al-Sayyid al-Muntaha related from his father, from al-Sharif al-Radi.
و أما أسانيد كتب الشيخ المفيد فعن أبي جعفر و أبي القاسم ابني كميح عن أبيهما عن ابن البراج عن الشيخ و من طرق أبي جعفر الطوسي أيضا عنه.
As for the chains of the books of al-Shaykh al-Mufid: from Abu Ja'far and Abu al-Qasim, the two sons of Kamih, from their father, from Ibn al-Barraj, from al-Shaykh; and by the routes of Abu Ja'far al-Tusi also, from him.
و أما أسانيد كتب أبي جعفر بن بابويه عن محمد و علي ابني علي بن عبد الصمد عن أبيهما عن أبي البركات علي بن الحسين الحسيني الخوزي عنه و كذلك من روايات أبي جعفر الطوسي.
As for the chains of the books of Abu Ja'far b. Babawayh: from Muhammad and 'Ali, the two sons of 'Ali b. 'Abd al-Samad, from their father, from Abu al-Barakat 'Ali b. al-Husayn al-Husayni al-Khuzi, from him; and likewise from the narrations of Abu Ja'far al-Tusi.
و أما أسانيد كتب ابن شاذان و ابن فضال و ابن الوليد و ابن الحاسر و علي بن إبراهيم و الحسن بن حمزة و الكليني و الصفواني و العبدكي و الفلكي و غيرهم فهو على ما نص عليها أبو جعفر الطوسي في الفهرست.
As for the chains of the books of Ibn Shadhan, Ibn Faddal, Ibn al-Walid, Ibn al-Hasir, 'Ali b. Ibrahim, al-Hasan b. Hamza, al-Kulayni, al-Safwani, al-'Abdaki, al-Falaki and others, they are according to what Abu Ja'far al-Tusi laid down concerning them in the Fihrist.
و حدثني الفتال بالتنوير في معاني التفسير و بكتاب روضة الواعظين و بصيرة المتعظين و أنبأني الطبرسي بمجمع البيان لعلوم القرآن و بكتاب إعلام الورى بأعلام الهدى و أجاز لي أبو الفتوح رواية روض الجنان و روح الجنان في تفسير القرآن و ناولني أبو الحسن البيهقي حلية الأشراف و قد أذن لي الآمدي في رواية غرر الحكم و وجدت بخط أبي طالب الطبرسي كتابه الإحتجاج و ذلك مما يكثر تعداده و لا يحتاج إلى
And al-Fattal related to me al-Tanwir fi Ma'ani al-Tafsir and the Kitab Rawdat al-Wa'izin wa-Basirat al-Mutta'izin; and al-Tabrisi announced to me the Majma' al-Bayan li-'Ulum al-Qur'an and the Kitab I'lam al-Wara bi-A'lam al-Huda; and Abu al-Futuh granted me licence to relate Rawd al-Jinan wa-Ruh al-Jinan fi Tafsir al-Qur'an; and Abu al-Hasan al-Bayhaqi handed over to me the Hilyat al-Ashraf; and al-Amidi gave me leave to relate the Ghurar al-Hikam; and I found in the hand of Abu Talib al-Tabrisi his book al-Ihtijaj.
