و أكثر عباراته موافق لما يذكره الصدوق أبو جعفر بن بابويه في كتاب من لا يحضره الفقيه من غير سند و ما يذكره والده في رسالته إليه و كثير من الأحكام التي ذكرها أصحابنا و لا يعلم مستندها مذكورة فيه كما ستعرف في أبواب العبادات.

Most of its wording agrees with what al-Saduq Abu Ja'far b. Babawayh sets down in the Book of Man la Yahduruhu al-Faqih without a chain, and with what his father sets down in his epistle to him. Many of the rulings which our companions have stated, and whose basis is not known, are set down in it, as you will come to know in the chapters on the acts of worship.

و كتاب المسائل المشتمل على جل ما سأله السيد الشريف الجليل النبيل علي بن الإمام الصادق جعفر بن محمد أخاه الكاظم صلوات اللّٰه عليهم أجمعين.

And the Book of al-Masa'il, which takes in most of what the noble, eminent and distinguished Sayyid 'Ali, son of the Imam al-Sadiq Ja'far b. Muhammad, asked of his brother al-Kazim, God's blessings be upon them all.

و كتاب الخرائج و الجرائح للشيخ الإمام قطب الدين أبي الحسن سعيد بن هبة اللّٰه بن حسن الراوندي.

And the Book of al-Khara'ij wa'l-Jara'ih, by the Shaykh and Imam Qutb al-Din Abu al-Hasan Sa'id b. Hibat Allah b. Hasan al-Rawandi.

و كتاب قصص الأنبياء له أيضا على ما يظهر من أسانيد الكتاب و اشتهر أيضا و لا يبعد أن يكون تأليف فضل اللّٰه بن علي بن عبيد اللّٰه الحسني الراوندي كما يظهر من بعض أسانيد السيد بن طاوس و قد صرح بكونه منه ١في رسالة النجوم و كتاب فلاح السائل و الأمر فيه هين لكونه مقصورا على القصص و أخباره جلها مأخوذة من كتب الصدوق رحمه اللّٰه.

And the Book of Qisas al-Anbiya', likewise his, as appears from the chains of the book, and as is also well known. It is not unlikely, however, that it is the composition of Fadl Allah b. 'Ali b. 'Ubayd Allah al-Hasani al-Rawandi, as appears from certain chains of al-Sayyid b. Tawus, though he stated explicitly that it is by the former (1) in the Epistle on the Stars and in the Book of Falah al-Sa'il. The matter is of little consequence, since the book is confined to the narratives of the prophets and most of its reports are taken from the books of al-Saduq, God have mercy on him.

و كتاب فقه القرآن للأول أيضا.

And the Book of Fiqh al-Qur'an, likewise by the first of them.

و كتاب ضوء الشهاب شرح شهاب الأخبار للثاني فضل اللّٰه رحمه اللّٰه و كتاب الدعوات و كتاب اللباب و كتاب شرح نهج البلاغة و كتاب أسباب النزول له أيضا.

And the Book of Daw' al-Shihab, a commentary on Shihab al-Akhbar, by the second, Fadl Allah, God have mercy on him; and the Book of al-Da'awat; the Book of al-Lubab; the Commentary on Nahj al-Balagha; and the Book of Asbab al-Nuzul, likewise his.

و كتاب ربيع الشيعة و كتاب أمان الأخطار و كتاب سعد السعود و كتاب كشف اليقين في تسمية مولانا أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام و كتاب الطرائف و كتاب الدروع الواقية و كتاب فتح الأبواب في الاستخارة و كتاب فرج المهموم بمعرفة منهج الحلال و الحرام من علم النجوم و كتاب جمال الأسبوع و كتاب إقبال الأعمال و كتاب فلاح السائل و كتاب مهج الدعوات و كتاب مصباح الزائر و كتاب كشف المحجة لثمرة المهجة و كتاب اللّٰهوف على أهل الطفوف و كتاب غياث

And the Book of Rabi' al-Shi'a; the Book of Aman al-Akhtar; the Book of Sa'd al-Su'ud; the Book of Kashf al-Yaqin fi Tasmiyat Mawlana Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him; the Book of al-Tara'if; the Book of al-Duru' al-Waqiya; the Book of Fath al-Abwab on seeking what is best; the Book of Faraj al-Mahmum bi-Ma'rifat Manhaj al-Halal wa'l-Haram min 'Ilm al-Nujum; the Book of Jamal al-Usbu'; the Book of Iqbal al-A'mal; the Book of Falah al-Sa'il; the Book of Muhaj al-Da'awat; the Book of Misbah al-Za'ir; the Book of Kashf al-Mahajja li-Thamarat al-Muhja; the Book of al-Luhuf 'ala Ahl al-Tufuf; and the Book of Ghiyath
